WELCOME
"Friendship in a foreign country is like finding a piece of home in a place that feels unfamiliar. It's the bond that turns strangers into family and makes even the most distant place feel like where you belong."
The American Women’s Club of Lebanon (AWC) is an English-speaking group of American and Expat women who have found their second home in Lebanon. We are a non-profit organization that brings together American traditions with the Lebanese culture through social and philanthropic activities.
We have fun! From sampling wine in the Bekka (above) to snowshoeing in the Shouf (below), we know how to enjoy ourselves! Along with social activities, we have monthly meetings, individual interest groups and give back to our community through charity events
When you join AWC, you not only gain a new set of friends, you become part of our family. We support each other through the challenges of living in Lebanon. Whether you’ve been in the country for many years, or have just moved here, AWC Lebanon welcomes you.
